Which club do you think will ruin the careers of these two promising Scottish stars
a)Hibs-for not letting them move
b)Rangers-If they go there they will be playing for a sh it team
c)Celtic-For letting them stagnate on the bench(like Riordan).
Personally I think their careers would progress further by a move down south. A move to either of the Old Firm would kill off any ambitions either of them have to go further in the game.
Hibs are the best side for them just now. John Collins will help them progress and then maybe when the are regulars for Scotland or maybe the end of this season could move.
Rangers - Le Guen still manager but probably not for next season. Foreigners in midfield but Fergie, Burke and Adam can be the scots.
Celtic - Riorden went there. How many games does he get?
Nakamura, Lennon, Gravasan, McGeady.
Would any of the two get in that side?
Move South - Maybe a high flying championship club on the brink of promotion would be a good next move.
Your joking if you think they could get in Man Utds side
3 years time - Maybe?
I think maybe Aberdeen would be a good starting point. They are a decent team this year and will give them a chance to play. I think Calderwood is the right manager to give them guidance also. A couple years there then move onto a bigger team. Perhaps somewhere down south like Charlton would be good too? I don't think a championship team would be a good idea though as I get the feeling they could fade to obscurity this way. As a Hearts fan, I'd love it if they signed for us but don't think that'll happen somehow and certainly wouldn't be a good idea either...
It is not which club will ruin their careers, it is when will Willie Mc Kay kill the `goose that laid the golden egg`? Hibernian are bang to rights in refusing to let these young players move. They signed contract extensions earlier this year and were well rewarded for their loyalty by the club. Now suddenly they have a new agent, who is a scumbag, and suddenly instead of taking their grievances to the club, they are raising them through the local press. Call me synical, but this is the same path that Joey Barton employed last season to hold Man City to ransom. Guess who his agent is? Yep, it is Willie Mc Kay. This man is a parasite and the sooner he is banned from football by Fifa the better. In reference to Thompson and Brown, do I have any sympathy with them? No. I work 40 hours a week to take home £ 260, these kids get four figure wages for half weeks kicking a ball around. Lets be honest about it, the only way most Scottish footballers could earn the wages they get from football outside the sport would be by illegal activities. Most of them would only be fit for the dole if they couldn`t kick a ball.
I can see where you are coming from Dicko. However, i would like to see Scott Brown at Celtic. I think he is a smashing young player and he has plenty of fire and commitment (i like that). I would also like to see young Riordan (so would most Celtic fans) given a chance. I do think he is due his turn, i like his cheek. (no jokes please)
look what happened when liam miller went down south.....yeah you now ask liam who........they should both stay in scotland....
Don't you think their agents and their egos have a little something to do with their inevitable oblivion too?
Both A and C ARE RIGHT.!!!
Perhaps joining Man.united.!!!
