ok guys i went for a job interview 2days ago and this is how it went down, it was at Ebgames and the way i found out the job was being offered was my step dad teaches the managers wife at tafe. Ok so anyway i went to the job interview and i believe it all went well we were having laughs and talking about video games alot. So anyway the thing is i did int bring a resume because i wasent sure. With all the other places i applied to the give u a application form and u attach the resume with the application for, but at this place i wasent received with a application from what u do is u write down on ur resume what time ur available to work. Ok so anyway im a 17m and i just graduated from high school so im flexible with my hours. Just yesterday night when my step dad got back from tafe him and the mangers wife were talking about it and they said they were a little disappointed that i didn't bring a resume but their going to forgive it because it was my first interview and i didn't know if i should (take in mind i bought my resume into the shop yesterday), but the thing is they said their going to be considering me because they want someone who knows alot about video games and my knowledge for that is really high so that already gives me a edge their and because im under 18 im getting child wages, btw everyone their is a adult. Do u guys reckon ill get the job? he seemed really happy and all when we were doing the interview we talked alot. btw when i got their for the interview he said did u bring a resume i explained y and he said its fine 2 me. once again i dropped of the resume yesterday, the guy is really cool and i think we get on well, he is really fun
Nobody savours the idea of looking for a job, and the majority of us want all the help we can get. First of all, you need to address the issue of there/their/they're before you plan on getting a real job. It's confusing to read your question.
Unfortunately, just because you get along with the boss and know about the product, doesn't mean you'll actually get the job. And in this economy, any applicant with dependents may get priority over a student. Connections are great, but don't depend on that for a job.
