How much work history should be on a resume?

  • Last 1-3 relevant jobs.


  • Anything that would be considered relevant.

  • I think it's suppose to be the last 10 years.

  • EVERYTHING YOU GOT! (the more the better)


  • If you list tons of companies for which you have worked in last 3 years that does not look good at all. I would list just the three last companies, but I would definitely put one down where you have worked some specific job which you are currently applying at the new company... Jobs done in your teens, or when in college such as McDonald's and such...may not want to put that down, unless you were manager or supervisor..
